Suzie has served as chair of the Labour Party West Berkshire branch for 5 years, over two election cycles, Suzie is well placed on local issues affecting Theale residents. Suzie moved to Theale in 2021 having lived in neighbouring Tidmarsh for 10 years, and Tilehurst before that.
She sees first hand how the Tory council consistently fails the people of Theale by prioritising spending on facilities in Newbury, supporting house building on green spaces to meet their quotas instead of distributing new building fairly, targeting brown-field land for development.
