Julie has lived in Newbury for 23 years and has two sons who benefited from great local state schools. Julie worked as a mental health occupational therapist before moving into higher education to teach health professionals. She says “There is no better expression of our country’s values than our NHS and welfare state. I will do everything I can to make sure future generations can rely on excellent local services, available to all of us when we need them, not only if we can pay”
