Christine Copeland - Labour candidate for Newbury Greenham

Christine was born in Glasgow but has lived and worked in Newbury for twenty years.   Her two children have both been educated locally in state schools.   Christine originally trained as a teacher and has worked extensively in Further Education, teaching adult literacy and numeracy.    For the last ten years she has worked in the charity sector in West Berkshire, supporting and advocating for the rights of people with learning disabilities, their families and their carers.   Christine wants to ensure that health and social care services are available to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay for them.
