While our council taxes are rising, the services are decreasing. We need change. Ian McKay
A self-employed Auto Electrician, I was a former shop steward with the Transport & General Workers union, and have a long and proud history with Labour spanning back to making meals for the striking miners in 1983.
Daily he travels the length & breadth of West Berkshire carrying out his work and can’t but help notice that while our council taxes are rising, the services are decreasing. The road conditions have deteriorated, charges are being imposed for formerly included waste services, and libraries, fixed and mobile have suffered under unnecessary austerity policies.
Ian has served on Lambourn Parish Council for the last 3 years and take a keen interest in the affairs of folk in West Berks.
